Ibiza
Ibiza is legendary for its nightlife, and the club season is in full swing from May to October. The queer heart of the island beats in the old town of Ibiza Town, more precisely in the harbour district of Sa Penya, where most gay bars run close together through the narrow streets. From there, it's only a few steps up to the historic fortified town of Dalt Vila, which you shouldn't miss during the day. In mid-June, the island celebrates Ibiza Pride with a parade and harbour party, a great time for your trip. During the day, Es Cavallet beach in the south, the traditional gay beach with a nudist area and relaxed beach bars, beckons. In the evenings, it's off to the world-famous clubs, from parties with international DJs to queer nights. Ibiza is not cheap, but it rewards you with dream beaches, Mediterranean charm and a nightlife in a class of its own.
