Gay Circuit Festivals & Parties
Big dance floors, international DJs and parties until the morning: Here you will find circuit festivals and destinations for your next party trip.
Circuit trips focus on electronic music and big parties. Often, several events run over a long weekend or a whole week, spread over clubs, halls, pools and beaches. The audience is international, the nights are long, and the effort for tickets and transfers is usually higher than that of an ordinary city trip.
The calendar begins with the Winter Party in Miami, which takes place at the end of February or beginning of March. In August, two of the most famous summer dates follow: the Circuit Festival in Barcelona and XLSIOR on Mykonos. Madrid, São Paulo, Bangkok and New York also have strong circuit scenes and big party weekends, but brands and dates change. The current program of the respective organizer remains decisive.
A good party trip needs air in the plan. Three main nights in a row sound easier to book than they feel on site. Choose the events whose music, location and time really fit and keep at least one quiet section free. Also pay attention to official shuttle offers, admission rules and the actual way back to the accommodation. The lists on this page show you suitable festivals, trips and hotspots.

Plan your circuit trip
When it comes to circuit travel, the program decides almost everything: district, sleeping times, transfers, and budget. First, mark two or three parties that are important to you. After that, add smaller dates instead of automatically making a full pass mandatory. Between a pool event in the afternoon and an indoor party at night, you'll need time to eat, shower, and rest.
The most important travel times
Miami opens the season with the Winter Party at the end of February or beginning of March. In August, a lot is focused on the Mediterranean: the Circuit Festival takes place in Barcelona, XLSIOR in Mykonos. Both destinations combine club nights with summer holidays, but require different logistics. Barcelona offers dense public transport and plenty of accommodation; in Mykonos, distances are short, but transfers at night are a separate cost and time factor.
Madrid, São Paulo, Bangkok and New York are also permanent names in the international party scene. Individual brands can disappear, move or pause. Therefore, do not rely on an old calendar or a reused poster. Only the current organizer's website confirms the date, venue and ticket shop.
Accommodation and night transport
Don't just book to the beach or downtown. See where the parties that are important to you take place and how to get there at night. Large festivals are often spread over several venues outside the center. An official shuttle can make more sense than a hotel right in the trendy district.
For light sleep, it is recommended to keep your distance from the host hotel. Many guests meet there, which is practical, but not quiet. Share a room with friends only if the daily rhythm and visiting rules have been clarified. After a long night, even a small conflict quickly becomes exhausting.
Tickets and budget
In addition to flights and accommodation, there are costs for admission, transfers, cloakroom, drinks, food, and possibly lockers. An all-access pass is worth it if you're sure to attend several main parties. Single tickets are better if you want to keep your vacation open or plan break days.
Only buy from the official organizer or a named ticket partner. Screenshots and private PDF offers can easily be sold twice. Check whether names on tickets can be changed and what refund applies in case of relocation. For sold-out dates, only use authorized resale channels.
Clothing and admission
Most circuit parties don't have a strict fetish dress code, but they often have their own theme. Light clothing and shoes that you can stand in for many hours are practical. Observe rules about bags, liquids, and professional cameras. An outfit that works by the pool can be too cool in air-conditioned halls; a small top for the way home helps.
Admission checks can take a long time. Have your ticket, ID and proof of age ready, if applicable. Avoid bulk decanting medication if you need it. The original packaging and a doctor's certificate can prevent queries when traveling internationally.
Health and breaks
Sleep, water and food are part of the planning. Set a realistic end time before the evening and arrange a meeting point in case the group gets lost. Earplugs protect you during long nights without you having to do without music. If you have circulatory problems or other illnesses, you should know the medical care at your destination.
Substances carry additional risks due to unknown dosages and interactions. Do not accept anything from strangers and do not mix thoughtlessly. If you or someone in your group seems confused, overheated or unresponsive, get medical help immediately. Security and paramedics are there for this; fear of trouble must not delay treatment.
Sexual Health, Consent, and the Way Home
Pack protective equipment and personal medication yourself. Don't only say boundaries and protection when a situation becomes confusing. Consent must remain voluntary and can end at any time. A party bracelet, little clothing or flirting are not consent.
For the way back, save accommodation and official transportation offline. Only get into clearly identifiable vehicles and share the ride with a trusted person if necessary. If you are left alone, inform your group briefly. The best circuit trip is not the one with the most parties, but the one from which you come home safely and with good memories.
