Fetish Weeks & Leather Events
Leather, rubber, sportswear or puppy: Here you will find fetish festivals, suitable cities and practical tips for your trip.
Fetish trips connect the scene, nightlife and community. The spectrum ranges from leather and rubber to sportswear and puppy play; not every event covers everything. Some weeks consist of markets, exhibitions and open meetings, others rely on parties with a strict dress code. A look at the program is therefore more important than the label "fetish".
Berlin shapes the European calendar twice: Easter Berlin is around Easter, Folsom Europe follows in September. Darklands brings a multi-day festival to Antwerp in February. In October, the scene meets for Leather & Fetish Pride in Amsterdam. Cologne, London and San Francisco also have established clubs, shops and community events that are suitable for shorter trips.
You don't need a full set of equipment to plan your first trip. Open street parties, markets, and community events are a great place to start. Club nights often have more specific rules about clothing, age, admission, and allowed equipment. Do your research ahead of time and respect that consensus, privacy, and consideration are non-negotiable in these spaces. The lists on this page will help you find festivals and destinations that match your style.

Preparing a Fetish Trip
First, choose the type of event. A street party works differently than a club night, a market differently than a play party. Open formats allow you to get to know scene organizations, view equipment, and arrive without a strict dress code. Ticket events often require more preparation. Read the admission rules and house rules in full before you book your flight or hotel.
The most important months and cities
Berlin is a central meeting place in spring with Easter Berlin and in September with Folsom Europe. Antwerp follows with Darklands in February, Amsterdam with Leather & Fetish Pride in October. Since dates can shift, these months are only a planning framework. The current page of the organizer is always binding.
For a weekend without a festival, Berlin, Cologne, Amsterdam and London offer a larger selection of shops, bars and clubs. Nevertheless, check the respective event calendar: A well-known club does not have the same audience or the same dress code every evening. If you are specifically looking for Leather, Rubber or Puppy, you will often find more precise information about local clubs than about general party portals.
Travel and accommodation
Accommodation near the trendy district saves you a lot of travel at night, but can be noisy and expensive during big weeks. Good public transport connections are usually more important than close proximity. Check the last connection, night buses and the rules for taking larger bags with you. Some clubs have cloakrooms, but their size is limited.
Keep conspicuous or sensitive equipment opaque along the way, especially if you're driving through train stations or more conservative areas. When traveling by air, liquids and metal parts should be included in your luggage in a way that keeps security going smoothly. Check local regulations if you're carrying items that could be misconstrued as weapons.
Dress code without a bad purchase
"Strict fetish" is not an invitation to improvise. The event page usually lists allowed looks such as leather, rubber, neoprene, sportswear or uniform. Street wear may be excluded. If a wording remains unclear, ask the organizer in advance; a photo of the planned outfit helps more than a general description.
A neatly put together outfit made of a few pieces is often enough to get started. Fit and freedom of movement count more than a well-known brand. Don't wear new boots or latex for the first time on a long night of partying. Take care products with you that match the material and keep in mind that your wardrobe and body are put under more strain in warm rooms.
Budget and tickets
Count on accommodation, travel, admission, cloakroom, transportation, and possibly new equipment. Festival passes can be useful if you're attending several main events. Single tickets give you more freedom and prevent you from scheduling every night out of a sense of duty. Popular evenings and suitable hotels are often booked out first.
Only purchase tickets through the official store or an explicitly mentioned resale channel. For personalized passes, private sharing may be invalid. Save confirmation and house rules offline so you can show them even without a data connection.
Consensus, privacy and security
Consent must be concrete, voluntary, and revocable at any time. Fetish clothing doesn't say anything about what someone wants. Ask before you touch people or their equipment. A no doesn't need a reason. Alcohol or other substances don't replace clear consent.
Many events prohibit photos altogether or only allow them in marked areas. Stick to them, even if your phone is quickly at hand. Others' names, preferences, and encounters don't belong on social media without being asked. If a situation seems unsafe to you, contact the awareness team, security, or bar staff.
Plan the way back, drink enough water and take breaks. For sexual contact, protective equipment and arrangements should be in your luggage. If you are traveling alone, you can tell a trusted person the venue without sharing details about other guests. Good preparation does not take away from the spontaneity of the evening; it creates the framework for it.
