Remezzo

Remezzo

Restaurant

Remezzo is located at the Old Port of Mykonos and combines a restaurant and cocktail bar overlooking the sea. On the terraces and the remezzaki veranda over the water, Mediterranean cuisine with Greek accents is served, such as prawn saganaki or roast lamb with wild herbs, accompanied by raw dishes such as fish tartare and ceviche. At night, it becomes a lounge with DJ sets until the early hours of the morning.

Food

Gay restaurants and queer-friendly cafés in Mykonos are densest where the bars are: in the alleys of Chora around the old port. Between the trendy restaurants, you can sit here during the day with coffee and dinner in the evening, often with a mixed, cosmopolitan crowd and a view of the hustle and bustle in the narrow streets. Many restaurants are small and focused on Greek cuisine, from meze and fresh fish to simple tavern dishes, as well as international addresses for the more elaborate evening.

Beyond the old town, you don't have to look far for a table on the island where you feel comfortable as a gay guest. Mykonos has lived from tourism for decades and is accordingly open, so eating out for queer couples is as normal here as at any other holiday destination. On the beaches in the south, for example around Elia and Super Paradise, beach clubs and beach restaurants are added, which are not explicitly queer, but are of course visited by a mixed crowd. Note that prices on the island are well above the Greek average, especially in the exposed locations with harbor or sea views. Whether you're looking for a restaurant in the middle of the scene or just want to eat in a relaxed way, the following selection will give you an overview.
