Gay bars in Lisbon are concentrated in Príncipe Real, the neighborhood is considered the heart of the gay scene. One of the most famous addresses is Bar TR3S, which has been open since 2010 and functions with outdoor areas, cocktails and changing music from after-work drinks until late at night. Bar 106, which has been shaping the scene since 1995 and is a good starting point for the evening, is older. If you're looking for drag and show, you'll find it at the Finalmente Club, an institution that has been opening its doors since 1976.
Around these fixed addresses there are other pubs and small clubs spread over Príncipe Real and the neighboring Bairro Alto. The Bairro Alto is more mixed, where gay and straight guests run together, while in Príncipe Real it is clearly queer. It is typical for Lisbon that you step outside the door with the glass and start talking on the street. Plan enough time. Before midnight, there is little going on in most shops. The following addresses range from the quiet bar for the first drink to the club for the long night.
