Aspen Gay Ski Week has been around since 1977, and in January 2027 it will celebrate its golden anniversary. From January 17 to 24, 2027, the community in Colorado will meet to celebrate, ski and meet people. During the day, the week follows a fixed rhythm. In the morning, the Mountain Du Jour group goes up the mountain, every day to a different one of the four ski resorts: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk. From 3 p.m., the free après-ski with hot tub and pool runs at the Hotel Limelight. In the evening, the formats change. The schedule includes friendship dinners, drag bingo with Mariam T, a cocktail party for women and dance evenings at Belly Up. On Friday, the Downhill Costume Contest is scheduled for noon, and in the evening the anniversary party on the Sundeck at the summit of Aspen Mountain. Finally, there will be a drag brunch in Snowmass on Sunday. If you are an expert, you can also climb the Highland Bowl on foot. The organizer sells tickets and passes online.
