For the second trip, Tryst Cruises charters the Wonder of the Seas from Royal Caribbean, one of the largest cruise ships in the world. Around 5,800 guests are expected to be on board. The operator speaks of the largest pure gay cruise to date. Tryst Cruises is backed by Tryst Hospitality, which includes The Abbey in West Hollywood and the Crown & Anchor in Provincetown. The voyage lasts seven nights, from February 4 to 11, 2028, from and to Miami. After a day at sea, it will go to Samaná in the Dominican Republic, then to San Juan in Puerto Rico and to Philipsburg on Sint Maarten. Before the ship docks back in Florida, two days at sea will follow. The ship brings more than 20 restaurants, 13 bars and clubs, five pools, three water slides, an open-air aqua theater and an ice rink. Tryst wants to show his program of parties, DJs and drag shows on a larger scale there. The trip is for adults only. It can be booked from 2027; until then, only the date has been set.

Frequently asked questions

How does an LGBT cruise differ from a regular one?

As a rule the entire ship is chartered — a 100% queer crowd with its own programme of DJs, drag shows and themed parties.

What is usually included?

Cabin, full board, entertainment and pool are mostly included. Premium drinks, spa and shore excursions are usually charged separately.

Is the trip suitable for solo travellers?

Yes — the solo share is high on many trips, and there are often dedicated solo meet-ups on board.

What are the cancellation terms?

That depends on the operator. You will find the exact deadlines and conditions directly with the provider.

What about safety when docking in restrictive countries?

The operators are careful about route choices. At controversial ports, shore excursions are curated thoughtfully.
