Itinerary

7 stops · 8 nights

  1. 1
    Split (Croatia) Start

The Croatian coastal city on the Adriatic Sea is grouped around the ancient Diocletian's Palace. Between Roman masonry, lively alleys and the Riva waterfront, life pulsates.

  2. 2
    Bol, Island of Brač (Croatia)

The Croatian town on the south coast of the island of Brač is famous for the Golden Horn, a striking pebble spit that extends into the clear Adriatic waters.

  3. 3
    Hvar (Croatia)

The sun-drenched Croatian Adriatic island will delight you with fragrant lavender fields, an elegant port town with Venetian heritage and a lively nightlife.

  4. 4
    Vis (Croatia)

The most remote of the inhabited Croatian Adriatic islands remained a military restricted area for a long time and is therefore particularly pristine. Hidden coves and good wine characterize it.

  5. 5
    Korčula (Croatia)

The Croatian Adriatic island with its medieval old town is considered a possible birthplace of Marco Polo. You stroll through herringbone-shaped alleys, surrounded by wine and sea.

  6. 6
    Mljet National Park (Croatia)

The forested Croatian Adriatic island of Mljet is home to a national park with two salt lakes and an island monastery. Dense pine forests and still waters invite you to relax.

  7. 7
    Dubrovnik (Croatia) Finish
    Objective

The Croatian pearl of the Adriatic impresses you with its completely preserved medieval city wall, marble alleys and breathtaking views over the deep blue sea.

  3. Dubrovnik as a finale
The ride ends against the backdrop of the completely preserved city wall.

The ship · The Rhapsody

The Rhapsody is a small private yacht with three decks and space for a maximum of 36 guests in 19 cabins – large enough for a fixed tour group, small enough to call at ports that large cruise ships never reach. Balcony cabins on the upper deck, a whirlpool on board and an open sun deck characterize the character of the ship: more like a boat charter among friends than a classic cruise.

The operator Out Adventures regularly charters the Rhapsody for a gay-only cruise along the Croatian Adriatic coast. It starts in Split, followed by islands such as Hvar, Vis and Korčula, before ending in Dubrovnik. A private chef cooks on board, and the group stays among themselves throughout the trip – family and friends are welcome, but the target group is gay men.

If you can do without large pool bars and shows, you will find the opposite on the Rhapsody: quiet bays, short distances on land and a program that is closely oriented to the Dalmatian coast instead of a fixed stage plan.

Frequently asked questions

How does an LGBT cruise differ from a regular one?
As a rule the entire ship is chartered — a 100% queer crowd with its own programme of DJs, drag shows and themed parties.

What is usually included?
Cabin, full board, entertainment and pool are mostly included. Premium drinks, spa and shore excursions are usually charged separately.

Is the trip suitable for solo travellers?
Yes — the solo share is high on many trips, and there are often dedicated solo meet-ups on board.

What are the cancellation terms?
That depends on the operator. You will find the exact deadlines and conditions directly with the provider.

What about safety when docking in restrictive countries?
The operators are careful about route choices. At controversial ports, shore excursions are curated thoughtfully.
