Itinerary
The Catalan metropolis on the Mediterranean fascinates you with Gaudí's Sagrada Família, the lively promenade La Rambla and the Gothic old quarter.
The capital of Mallorca will inspire you with its imposing Gothic cathedral La Seu, the charming old town and a lively harbour promenade directly on the Mediterranean Sea.
The Colombian Caribbean city will enchant you with a colorful old town surrounded by colonial walls, flower balconies and a lively plaza culture.
The Andalusian port city on the Mediterranean towers over a mighty Moorish fortress, the Alcazaba, and all around stretches barren, almost desert-like landscape.
The Andalusian port city on the Costa del Sol is Picasso's birthplace and combines a Moorish fortress with a lively cultural scene. You'll enjoy tapas, beaches, and a sun-drenched city center.
The striking limestone cliff at the entrance to the Mediterranean will fascinate you with its famous Barbary macaques, stalactite-adorned caves and British flair at the tip of Spain.
The Andalusian port city is located on a narrow headland in the Atlantic Ocean and enchants you with white alleys, golden cathedral and sandy beaches close to the city.
Portugal's capital stretches over seven hills on the Tagus River. Historic trams, the Alfama district, the Torre de Belém and fado sounds make up the city's special charm.

The ship · Star Legend
The Star Legend is one of Windstar Cruises' larger yachts. A comprehensive shipyard extension brought 50 additional suites and new common areas, and today the ship offers space for 312 guests with around 124 crew members. The routes alternate between Europe, the Caribbean and other regions, always with a focus on small ports that remain inaccessible to large cruise ships.
As with the sister ships of the Star class, specialized providers such as RSVP Vacations regularly use the small Windstar fleet for group and charter trips with a queer focus. However, a separate, publicly documented LGBTQ+ charter by the Star Legend himself could not be confirmed during the research.
Those who book independently travel in the normal Windstar program and benefit from the quiet atmosphere on board, designed for individuality, which is more reminiscent of a private yacht than a classic cruise ship.
Frequently asked questions
How does an LGBT cruise differ from a regular one?
As a rule the entire ship is chartered — a 100% queer crowd with its own programme of DJs, drag shows and themed parties.
What is usually included?
Cabin, full board, entertainment and pool are mostly included. Premium drinks, spa and shore excursions are usually charged separately.
Is the trip suitable for solo travellers?
Yes — the solo share is high on many trips, and there are often dedicated solo meet-ups on board.
What are the cancellation terms?
That depends on the operator. You will find the exact deadlines and conditions directly with the provider.
What about safety when docking in restrictive countries?
The operators are careful about route choices. At controversial ports, shore excursions are curated thoughtfully.
