The Mekong Symphony sails for Uniworld Boutique River Cruises on the Mekong and offers space for up to 68 guests with 34 suites on four decks – a sister ship of the slightly older Mekong Jewel and part of the small, very high-quality fleet with which Uniworld sails on this river.

There is currently no evidence of a separate, ship-specific LGBTQ+ charter voyage for this specific ship. However, Uniworld itself is clearly positioning itself as a provider in this area: The shipping company has been cooperating with R Family Vacations for some time and promotes regular, fully chartered LGBTQ+ river cruises under the name "Out on the Rivers" – so far publicly documented, especially on the Mekong Jewel. Whether and when the Mekong Symphony is also planned for such a charter trip is not clear from the available sources.
