Beach, nightlife and one of the most open scenes in the region. Five days around Hilton Beach, with Pride Week in June and Bauhaus architecture. Just a rough suggestion — the city invites you to drift.

What to expect

1
Trendy district
The heart of the scene lies around Hilton Beach and the center — best located centrally and close to the beach.
2
Best time to visit
Spring to early summer; in June, Pride Week transforms the entire city.
3
Don't Miss
The Bauhaus architecture of the White City, the old port of Jaffa and long beach days.

Around Hilton Beach and the city center lies the heart of Tel Aviv's scene, central and close to the beach at the same time — this is exactly where accommodation is most worthwhile. Long days at the beach can easily be combined with nightlife and café visits.

A walk through the White City with its Bauhaus architecture is part of the fixed program, as is a detour to the old port of Jaffa with its alleys and markets. Between the program items, there is enough time to simply relax on the beach.

The city is at its most beautiful in spring and early summer, when Pride Week dominates the entire cityscape in June. If you want to combine one of the most open scenes in the region with lots of beach and architecture, Tel Aviv is the right place for you.

Gay Tel Aviv

Gay Tel Aviv is one of the most open destinations for gay travelers and is considered the LGBT capital of the Middle East. The city is compact, located on the Mediterranean Sea and can be easily explored on foot or by bike. There is no fixed trendy district in the narrower sense, queer life is spread over several areas. A lot is happening around Dizengoff, Shenkin and Rothschild Boulevard, plus the alternative Florentin in the south with street art, bars and techno shops.

The centerpiece is Hilton Beach in the north, which is considered the city's gay beach and becomes the social center in summer. Beyond nightlife, Tel Aviv offers long beaches, strong cuisine with Middle Eastern influences, and a charming contrast to the modern city with the old yafo. Pride in June is the queer highlight of the year, with the big parade falling on Friday, June 12 in 2026 and ending on the beach as usual. If you like it quieter, travel in spring or early autumn, when the weather is mild and the city is less crowded. The summer will be hot and humid, but it is suitable for beach days. The city center between Dizengoff and Rothschild is a good base, from where you can combine the scene, beach and sights well.
