Queer life is concentrated around Maspalomas and the Yumbo Center, where boutiques are lined up during the day and bars and clubs in the evening.
It is best to stay in the area around Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas, then everything is within walking distance. Even in winter, the island attracts many because the climate remains mild; in midsummer, on the other hand, it will be much warmer in the south. A walk through the dunes of Maspalomas is a must, plus long beach days on the Atlantic Ocean and the easy change between nature and nightlife.
