Celebrity Equinox has sailed in the Mediterranean and Caribbean since its commissioning and is part of Celebrity Cruises' Solstice class – known for its lawn garden on deck, the Lawn Club, as well as an unusually quiet, elegant atmosphere for cruise ships.
VACAYA has also chosen this ship for a multi-day charter through the western Mediterranean, with Barcelona as the port of departure and destination. On board, the Equinox will then be completely transformed into a queer world – including the Red Light District, a specially designed nightlife area in the middle of the ship. The voyage occasionally coincides with special astronomical events observed together from the deck, and regularly brings together young queer talents from several European countries to compete in competitions around expression and representation.

How does an LGBT cruise differ from a regular one?
As a rule the entire ship is chartered — a 100% queer crowd with its own programme of DJs, drag shows and themed parties.
What is usually included?
Cabin, full board, entertainment and pool are mostly included. Premium drinks, spa and shore excursions are usually charged separately.
