Sitges is a small, sunny seaside resort south of Barcelona and has been a favorite queer destination for decades. Think of this weekend as a rough suggestion — the place is compact and the most beautiful place to slow down.
Trendy district
The queer bars and pubs are densely packed in the old town around Carrer del Pecat and Carrer Sant Bonaventura — all within walking distance.
Best time to visit
Midsummer is peak season with full beach and nightlife; June and September are a bit quieter, but still warm.
Don't Miss
The seafront, a day on one of the beaches near the old town and a sunset at the church of Sant Bartomeu.
